tom paulson::It is important that city council plans for future growth include all our interests.
Managing growth of the city must not only include the economic needs of the city, but must protect the long term community character and environment that have attracted all of us to ham lake.
Maintaining critical services: we must maintain the quality of fire and police protection in our community.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated volunteer fire department that has provided quality fire fighting services to our residents.
Maintaining and improving our parks and paths: funding for our parks and paths is running out soon.
We need places in our city for children to play safely, and paths in our city for residents to walk, bike and run safely.
As more people in our community take to these activities, a network of parks and paths would provide a safe environment.
Supporting our seniors: our senior citizens bring an abundance of experience and service to all of ham lake.
We need to support the efforts of our senior center and all the activities they do to improve our community.
